If ever we hope to rise above self-centeredness, self-consciousness and self-pity, and move toward greater love of God, neighbor and a proper love of self, we must be assisted by the grace and mercy of our Creator. We are both invited and encouraged to advance our cause through more consistent consciousness of God's presence and prayer that never ceases. This is the essence of LORD HAVE MERCY, an assortment of ideas, observations, prayers, perhaps even an aphorism here or there related to loving and serving one another, seeking God's aid in taming our demons, and reducing our egocentricity via greater awareness and unceasing prayer.
