The Schmincke Horadam Watercolour Paint Supergranulation Set of 50 Half Pans is a beautiful wooden box set containing the complete collection selection of supergranulation watercolours from their Volcano, Galaxy, Tundra, Deep Sea, Glacier, Shire, Forest, Haze, Desert, and Urban collections.

These colour groups take their inspiration from the natural landscape and are ideal for skyscapes, seascapes, landscapes, and more. Their granulating properties create incredible textures on paper. The set also includes a ceramic palette for mixing colours.

The distinctive feature of Schmincke Horadam Supergranulation Watercolours is that they contain a combination of two or more granulating pigments which separate and settle into the paper surface to create beautiful textural effects.

To achieve high standards regarding lightfastness, re-solubility and stability, Schmincke Horadam watercolours contain only the finest raw materials. The paints are bound with Kordofan gum arabic from the southern Sahara. Due to the natural source of the binder, the gum arabic does tend to differ slightly year on year. Schmincke continually tests their ingredients and the best of the batch is selected to ensure the highest quality is achieved. This means paint which has dried onto your palette can be easily rewetted and painted with again.
