Achieve consistent drilling depths with the TFF DepthLock Drill Stop Collar Set.
Each collar slides onto a compatible drill bit and locks into position using its side set screw. Once secured, the collar acts as a physical depth stop, helping prevent the drill bit from travelling deeper than the selected measurement.
The set includes eight commonly used collar sizes from 3 mm to 16 mm, together with an Allen key for installation and adjustment. It is suitable for woodworking, furniture assembly, cabinetry, dowel work, repetitive drilling and general workshop projects.

How It Works
The selected collar is fitted around a matching drill bit and positioned according to the required drilling depth. When the collar reaches the surface of the workpiece, it limits further downward movement of the drill bit.
This makes it easier to produce several holes at approximately the same depth without repeatedly measuring each hole.
How to Use
- Switch off the drill and remove the battery or disconnect it from power.
- Select the collar that matches the diameter of the drill bit.
- Loosen the collar's side set screw using the included Allen key.
- Slide the collar onto the drill bit.
- Measure the required drilling depth from the tip of the drill bit to the collar.
- Position the collar at the selected measurement.
- Tighten the set screw securely using the Allen key.
- Check that the collar does not slide or rotate freely.
- Fit the drill bit securely into the drill chuck.
- Drill carefully until the collar reaches the surface of the workpiece.
- Stop applying downward pressure once the collar makes contact.

Important Compatibility Information
- Select a collar with an internal diameter that matches the drill-bit diameter.
- The collar must fit over the drill bit without excessive looseness.
- The set is designed primarily for straight, round drill-bit sections.
- Compatibility may vary with stepped, tapered, irregular or unusually shaped drill bits.
- Confirm that the collar can be securely tightened before drilling.
Safety Information
- Disconnect the drill from power before fitting or adjusting a collar.
- Wear suitable eye protection while drilling.
- Secure the workpiece before starting.
- Ensure the collar and drill bit are firmly tightened.
- Do not operate the drill if the collar is loose, damaged or incorrectly fitted.
- Do not allow the collar to strike the workpiece at excessive speed.
- Reduce drilling pressure as the collar approaches the surface.
- Keep hands away from rotating drill bits and collars.
- Do not exceed the operating limits of the drill bit or power tool.
- Stop immediately if excessive vibration, movement or unusual noise occurs.
Care and Maintenance
- Wipe the collars clean after use.
- Remove sawdust, dirt and debris from the set screws.
- Keep the Allen key with the collars for future adjustment.
- Apply a light protective oil before long-term storage where necessary.
- Store the set in a clean, dry location.
- Inspect each collar and screw before use.
- Replace any component that becomes cracked, bent, stripped or excessively worn.
Please Note
- Drill, drill bits, timber and other accessories shown in images are for demonstration purposes only.
- The set contains 8 drill stop collars and 1 Allen key.
