Description
The manifest Presence and Power of God seems to be lacking in the Church today. People are longing to sense the anointing of the Spirit of God. Good preaching, powerful programs and excellent fellowship are wonderful, but they are no substitute for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. There is a price to pay for all who want to live and minister in the fullness of the Holy Spirit's anointing. The anointing often brings division. Today lines of division today are not being drawn along denominational or doctrinal boundaries, but rather along lines of present-day anointing and power. The end-time Church will certainly be distinguished in this way. The church is in great need of a return to Christ-centered ministry. Without God's anointing, the Church will not produce any lasting fruit for the Kingdom of God. The cry for revival recognizes the Church needs more than correct beliefs. It needs a visitation of God through His Holy Spirit. The Church desperately needs to operate under the anointing of the Holy Spirit to ensure significance in our generation. A thorough study and understanding of the anointing is vital if the 21st century Church is to carry out its commission and effectively take the Gospel of the Kingdom to all the nations.
