This back tap spark plug thread repair tool is designed to repair severely damaged spark plug hole threads and clean the threads without leaving debris in the cylinder bore. Made of heat treated steel, it offers high strength and toughness for repeated use. It works without removing the cylinder head or using a coil sleeve, helping save time on thread repair jobs. To use, pass the tool straight through the hole, expand it, and twist it in the opposite direction for 3 to 5 turns, then reverse direction, turning left and right when it becomes difficult and operating slowly throughout.
