2 Pack R0623400 Relief Valve Fits for Polaris Zodiac Cyclonic Leaf Catcher Pool Leaf Catcher Pool Replacement Part

R0623400 Relief Valve Fits for Polaris Zodiac Cyclonic Leaf Catcher. The relief valve is installed at the bottom of the leaf catcher, primarily to release excess liquid. The main function of the relief valve is that when you lift the leaf catcher out of the water, the relief valve automatically opens to release excess liquid. It retains debris such as leaves in your leaf catcher, preventing secondary contamination of your swimming pool. When your leaf catcher accumulates an excessive amount of leaves and other debris, it typically leads to wear and tear on the catcher. During such situations, you may notice leaves falling from the bottom of your catcher or an uneven and rapid release of liquid. To address this, it becomes necessary to replace your relief valve in order to prevent damage to the relief valve itself. This proactive step is crucial to avoid more serious harm to the leaf catcher, ensuring its continued functionality and preventing potential damage caused by a compromised relief valve.
