EcoProof Heavy Duty is a proudly South African, bitumen-based liquid rubber that forms a seamless, permanently flexible waterproof membrane with exceptional adhesion. Simply brush or roll it on - no special skills or torch-on equipment needed. Ideal for, box gutters, valleys, foundations, retaining walls, balconies, koi ponds and farm dams (not suitable for swimming pools).

Please note

Colour is black. It is not recommended that you paint over it. The cured surface remains tacky - do not apply on surfaces that will be walked over.

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust, grease and loose material; treat any rust first

Seal screws, lap joints and openings larger than 5mm with EcoProof and waterproofing membrane

Apply 2-3 thin coats with a brush or roller, allowing each coat to dry in between

Specifications

Coverage: 1L per 1m(2) on porous surfaces (cement, tile, asbestos); 1L per 1.5m(2) on non-porous surfaces (IBR, corrugated, Chromadek)

Apply at surface temperatures: Above 10degC

Shelf life: 6-12 months in sealed container, out of direct sunlight

Tip: Use Cemgrip primer on tile/asbestos and EcoCrete primer on new cement for best results
