How to use a red dot sight:
- caution: ensure the firearm is not chambered.
- always follow safe firearm handling procedures.

Adjusting a red dot sight without an integrated rail:
- if the distance between the eyepiece rings is too large when mounting the red dot sight to a rifle or shotgun, and the basic sight cannot be adjusted, remove the decorative ring and screw the extension tube onto the exposed threads at the front of the sight.
- some red dot sights come with a plastic protective cover, designed for special-purpose automatic weapons.
- if your firearm is not of this type, remove the rubber eyepiece from the end of the eyepiece tube, slide off the protective cover, and then reinstall the rubber eyepiece.
- because red dot sights do not have a fixed eye distance, when firing, there should be at least three inches between the eyepiece and the shooter's eye.
- install the included eyepiece rings into the base by aligning the cross bolts of the eyepiece rings with and inserting them into the cross slots of the base.
- tighten the locknuts on each cross bolt using a screwdriver or coin.
- use the included hex wrench to remove the two screws, separating the upper and lower parts of each scope ring.
- place the scope into the bracket formed by the lower part of the scope ring.
- reinstall the upper part of the scope ring and partially tighten the screws.
- rotate the scope in the scope ring until the elevation adjustment knob is at the top.
- on some models, the dimmer is located at the top of the scope.
- to avoid contact between the scope and ejected cartridge cases, you can rotate the scope to adjust the dimmer's position.
- there is no elevation adjustment on the side (windage adjustment is located at the top).

Note:
- in this case, the "up" indicator will become the "right" indicator, and the "right" indicator will become the "up" indicator.

Battery installation notes:
1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and always follow safe firearm handling procedures.
2. The red dot sight is powered by a 3v button lithium battery (model 2032).
3. Installation: insert the battery with the positive terminal (+) facing upwards. When replacing the battery, unscrew the battery compartment. If the crosshairs become dim or completely dark, replace the battery.
