Manage a small off-grid solar system with this controller. Designed for use between a compatible solar panel, rechargeable battery and low-voltage DC load, it helps regulate charging while providing monitoring and protection.

KEY FEATURES

AUTOMATIC 12V/24V DETECTION: Automatically recognises a compatible 12V or 24V battery system. Connect the battery first so the controller can detect the correct voltage before connecting the solar panel.

LCD SYSTEM MONITORING: The built-in display shows solar charging activity, battery status, system voltage, temperature and DC load operation.

DUAL USB PORTS: Two front USB ports can charge or power compatible USB devices.

TWO-BUTTON CONTROL: Use the menu button and DC switch key to view information, adjust settings and control the DC load. Timer modes may suit garden, security and street-light applications.

DEDICATED TERMINALS: Separate connection points are provided for the solar panel, battery and DC load.

SIX SAFETY PROTECTIONS

Includes short-circuit, overload, overcurrent, battery overcharge, undervoltage/over-discharge and overvoltage protection. These functions help protect the system when correctly installed.

SUITABLE APPLICATIONS

Suitable for camping and caravan systems, garden or security lighting, off-grid cabins, small DC fans, monitoring equipment and other compatible 12V or 24V DC applications.

CONNECTION ORDER

Connect the battery.

Confirm that the LCD switches on.

Connect the solar panel.

Connect the compatible DC load last.

Disconnect in the reverse order. Always check polarity before tightening the terminals.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The DC load terminals are for compatible low-voltage DC equipment only. Do not connect household AC appliances directly to the controller.

Televisions, computers, washing machines, refrigerators and similar appliances require a correctly rated inverter. High-power inverters should normally connect directly to the battery through suitable cables and circuit protection, not through the controller's load output.

Use correctly sized cables and keep cable runs short. Loose terminals, reversed polarity, undersized wiring, excessive solar input or an incompatible battery may damage the equipment.

Confirm that the charging settings suit the battery chemistry. Do not use with lithium batteries unless compatibility has been confirmed.

Install indoors in a dry, ventilated location away from rain and excessive heat.
