Hydrogen Peroxide is a powerful active oxygen solution that attacks bacteria, viruses, mould, algae, odours and organic stains by breaking them apart at the source. After use, it breaks down into only oxygen and water, leaving no persistent chemical residues.

This 2L 6% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide is supplied with a heavy-duty industrial trigger sprayer. For best results, use the stream setting rather than a fine mist spray. Avoid inhaling spray and always use in a well-ventilated area.

6% hydrogen peroxide is ideal for heavy-duty cleaning, stain lifting, whitening and brightening. It is especially effective on stubborn mould, mildew, fungal staining, grout, shower corners and other difficult cleaning jobs.

VALUE FOR MONEY

Use the 2 L of 6% as-is for the toughest jobs. This gives you 2 L of heavy-duty cleaner for stubborn mould, mildew, fungal staining, grout whitening, patios and shower corners.

Add 2 L of water to the 2 L of 6% to make 4 L of 3% hydrogen peroxide. This is the most useful everyday strength for kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry whitening, stain lifting, brightening fabrics and general household use.

Add 6 L of water to the 2 L of 6% to make 8 L of 1.5% hydrogen peroxide. This milder dilution is ideal for gardening, soil drenches, seed trays, pots, hydroponics and other gentle uses.

Add 14 L of water to the 2 L of 6% to make 16 L of 0.75% hydrogen peroxide. This very mild strength is suitable for delicate fabrics, toothbrush soaking and gentle personal-use cleaning.

6% hydrogen peroxide offers excellent value because it can be diluted for many different purposes.

Use 6% for heavy-duty cleaning, then dilute to 3% or lower for general everyday use.

PERSONAL USE

Diluted to 3% or lower, hydrogen peroxide can be used to clean cuts and scrapes, freshen toothbrushes, retainers and mouth guards, and deodorise shoes, razors and grooming tools. It is also useful for cleaning makeup brushes, gym clothes, lunchboxes and reusable bottles, and for lifting sweat and blood stains from fabrics. A properly diluted solution may also be used as a mouth rinse to help freshen breath, reduce surface bacteria and brighten teeth.

GARDEN USE

Hydrogen peroxide is ideal for soaking seeds before planting. It helps increase oxygen around roots and may assist with root rot and fungus gnats in damp soil. It can also be used on powdery mildew and leaf fungus, and to remove algae and slime from pots, trays and hydroponic equipment. It is useful for cleaning garden tools, reservoirs and compost bins.

KITCHEN USE

Diluted hydrogen peroxide is suitable for food-contact surfaces when used correctly. It can be used to clean counters, chopping boards, knives, sinks and food-preparation areas. It is also useful for freshening dishcloths, sponges and reusable containers, washing fruit and vegetables, cleaning fridges and microwaves, deodorising bins and drains, and removing food stains from tea towels and kitchen cloths.
