Covering both VHF (144MHz) and UHF (430MHz) bands in a single antenna, the AR-152A delivers reliable dual-band performance without the need to swap antennas between frequencies. The wider usable range of 136-174MHz and 400-520MHz gives it excellent versatility across a broad spectrum of two-way radio applications.
At 48cm, it provides noticeably better gain than a standard stubby antenna - 2.15dBi on VHF and 3.2dBi on UHF - translating to clearer transmissions and improved range in real-world conditions. The soft whip construction is flexible and resilient, absorbing the bumps and knocks of outdoor use without snapping or losing its shape.
