Care & Use Instructions for Your Dutch Oven

Before First Use:

• Wash the Dutch oven with warm, soapy water and dry it thoroughly.
• No seasoning is required, as the enamel-coated surface is ready for use.

Cooking Guidelines:

• Always use oven mitts or potholders when handling the pot, as both the lid and handles can become extremely hot.
• Cook on low to medium heat to ensure even cooking and to preserve the enamel coating.
• Avoid using metal utensils, which may scratch or damage the enamel surface.
• Do not place the Dutch oven directly on open flames or extremely hot surfaces like hotplates.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

• After each use, clean with warm water and mild detergent using a soft sponge or brush.
• Thoroughly dry after washing to prevent rust, particularly on exposed cast iron edges.
• Avoid harsh cleaners, metal scouring pads, and strong dishwashing detergents, as these can damage the enamel finish.
