Description
The "Armour of God" is a powerful metaphor found in the Christian Bible, specifically in the Apostle Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
In Ephesians 6:10-18, believers are exhorted to put on this full spiritual armour to stand firm against the spiritual forces of evil.
The "Armour of God" has six primary pieces
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests."
