2.4GHz Wireless Up to 100 Metres - Or Wired

The included 2.4GHz USB receiver pairs automatically-simply plug it into your POS system, computer, or cash register and begin scanning with a wireless range of up to 100 metres in open space. For fixed workstations, connect via USB cable and use the included stand to enable convenient hands-free presentation scanning.

IP52 Rated - Built for Real Working Environments

The IP52-rated housing helps protect the scanner against dust and dripping water, making it suitable for warehouses, loading bays, cold rooms, receiving areas, and other demanding work environments. It is splash-resistant but should not be submerged in water.

Reads Virtually Every Common Barcode

The high-performance CMOS imaging engine reads a wide variety of 1D and 2D barcode formats, including QR Code, Micro QR, Data Matrix, Aztec, MaxiCode, PDF417, and GS1 DataBar. Support for Micro QR makes it suitable for scanning compact labels found on electronic components, medical products, and industrial equipment. With a scan speed of 260 scans per second, 0.102mm (4mil) resolution, and an error rate of just 1 in 1,000,000, the BS220 delivers fast and accurate scanning.

USB, RS232 and USB-COM Compatibility

The BS220 operates as a standard USB keyboard device, allowing scanned data to appear directly wherever the cursor is positioned without drivers or additional software. It also supports RS232 and USB-COM connections for compatibility with industrial systems, legacy POS terminals, and specialised applications.
