MaxiIM IM508S

MaxiIM IM508S is a 7-inch, Android-based touchscreen tablet with professional key and immobiliser programming functionality, all systems diagnostics, and an extensive service menu. The tablet, which features a quad-core processor and 64 GB onboard memory and runs on the powerful Android 11 operating system, offers faster bootup and operation speed. Equipped with the XP200 key programmer, the IM508S can perform key and immobiliser functions, including Key and Remote Control Learning and basic EEPROM and MCU Read and Write capabilities.

The IM508S also enables technicians to complete an all-systems diagnostic scan and read and erase codes, view Freeze Frame and Live Data on U.S., Asian, and European vehicles, 1996 and newer.

The tablet also features an extensive menu of the most often performed maintenance and service tasks, including oil light reset, brake bleed, battery registration, steering angle sensor reset, and occupancy seat calibration. The IM508S also offers report cloud management, making saving and sharing reports easy.

The IMMO application requires a data link to the IMMO electronic control system of the test vehicle for diagnosis via OBD II connection. This application can access the key chip, read, retrieve and write key information, support read PIN/CS (all key lost), key generation, key learning, remote learning, IMMO ECU Reset/Adaptation, IMMO ECU Refresh/Coding, Backup/Restore IMMO Data, BMW FEM/BDC Key Learning and ECU Adaptation.

Advanced Key Programming:

The Programming application requires connection between the tablet and the XP200, and no vehicle connection is required. This application can access the key chip, read, retrieve and write key information, as well as other key-related functions.

Key Programming tool IM508S can perform real active tests that can send commands to the vehicle's ECU to drive the actuators to work, like ABS, window, door, solenoids, valves, wipers, headlamp, etc, helping you quickly find out bad parts and pinpoint faulty issues.

Auto Scan Technology

The Autel IM508S professional OBD2 scanner comes with Auto Scan function that performs a comprehensive scanning over all the ECUs in the vehicle to locate systems' faults and retrieve DTCs for efficient diagnosis.

Live Data & Review Freeze Frame Data

The IM508S car diagnostic scanner reads codes, show live data of multiple sensors in or graph or text, clears codes. The Review Data section allows you to playback the recorded data frames of live data streams.

Remote Technical Support

The Remote Desk application launches the TeamViewer Quick Support program, which is a simple, fast and secure remote control screen. You can use the application to receive ad-hoc remote support from Autel's support center, colleagues, or friends, by allowing them to control your MaxiIM tablet on their PC via the TeamViewer software
