Baseus PrimeTrip VD1 Pro Dash Cam 4K: 4K Front, GPS, Nightime

The Baseus PrimeTrip VD1 Pro Dash Cam 4K is a dual-channel solar-powered dash cam that records 4K UHD at the front and with a built-in lithium battery and Solar Sync system for true hardwire-free parking surveillance.

It combines Sony Starvis sensor technology, HDR processing, wide-angle lenses, GPS tracking, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and long parking standby so you can capture clear footage and protect your car even when it is parked for days.

Provides up to around two weeks of parking surveillance using its solar panel and internal battery, avoiding complex wiring and protecting your car without draining its starter battery.

Records continuously to microSD and overwrites older footage when the card is full, supporting cards from 32GB up to 512GB.

Features:

• 4K Front: Captures 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) footage from the front camera for detailed coverage of the road ahead.
• Sony Starvis Night Vision Sensor: Uses a Sony IMX335 STARVIS sensor with a multi-element glass lens and wide aperture for improved night vision and low-light performance.
• Wide-Angle Lenses: Offers around 170 front field of view to cover multi-lane traffic and parking surroundings.
• Solar Sync System 2.0: Integrates a solar panel with an internal lithium battery to sustain up to about 14 days of parking monitoring without hardwiring to the car's fuse box.
• Super Capacity Battery: Built-in lithium battery (around 380mAh system for standby plus larger internal capacity on "Super Capacity" kits) designed for extended parking protection.
• HDR Processing: Real-time HDR helps balance exposure in tricky lighting conditions such as tunnels, bright sunlight, and mixed shadows.
• GPS Tracking: Built-in GPS logs route, speed, and location data alongside video clips.
• Wi-Fi 6 (5GHz) Connectivity: Uses fast Wi-Fi for app control, live view, and quick clip downloads to your smartphone via the Baseus app.

What Makes It Smart:

• G-Sensor Event Locking: Locks and protects event clips when impacts or sudden shocks are detected so important footage is not overwritten.
• Clear Evidence Day and Night: High-resolution 4K front recording with STARVIS night vision and HDR increases the chances of reading plates and seeing what happened in low light.
• Covers Both Front Incidents and Rear Bumps: The front camera record from both directions, helping capture collisions, parking scrapes, and activity behind the vehicle.
• Simplifies File Access and Sharing: Fast Wi-Fi 6 connection and app support make it easy to view, download, and share clips on your phone without removing the card.
• Adds Useful Journey Data: GPS logging of route and speed can support insurance claims or simply track trips and driving behaviour.
