Behind Closed Doors

In 2005, Jean Macbeth typed out her story as a form of therapy. Reliving the events during writing was deeply traumatic, and the prospect of revisiting them in detail kept the manuscript untouched for years.

Now, in 2025, she has found the courage to share her truth - hoping it will offer comfort, strength, and solidarity to other victims of abuse.

While this book speaks openly about her own experiences, the details of her three children's childhood remain theirs to tell.

Behind Closed Doors is a testament to survival, resilience, and the power of breaking the silence.
