AQUA MAX BIO FILTER — 10 LITRES Biological filter housing for koi ponds and aquatic systems. Bio filters contain living bacteria that break down harmful ammonia (from fish waste) into nitrite, and then nitrite into less harmful nitrate. This is the 10-litre unit — requires 240 bio balls (not included) to fill the filter chamber and provide surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonise. IMPORTANT — KOI POND / AQUATIC USE This is a biological filtration component for ponds and aquatic systems, not swimming pools. It works alongside mechanical filtration (sand filters) to maintain water quality for fish. SPECIFICATIONS Capacity: 10 litres. Requires 240 bio balls (sold separately).
