It is driven by the widely used MAX7219 LED driver IC, which simplifies wiring and allows easy control via just a few microcontroller pins.

This module is ideal for Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, and other microcontroller platforms, making it perfect for scrolling text, animations, numeric displays, and simple graphics in DIY electronics, robotics, advertising boards, and educational projects.
