Description
The BMT STEPPER 5V + ULN2003 BOARD combines a compact 28BYJ-48 5V geared stepper motor with a dedicated ULN2003 driver board, providing an easy-to-use solution for adding controlled rotational movement to electronics, automation and robotics projects.
The 28BYJ-48 is a small geared stepper motor designed for applications where controlled, incremental movement is required. Unlike a conventional DC motor that continuously rotates when powered, a stepper motor can be driven in controlled steps, making it suitable for applications requiring positioning and repeatable movement.
The integrated ULN2003 driver board provides a convenient interface between the motor and a compatible microcontroller or development board. Its standard connector makes it easy to connect the motor to the driver board without requiring individual motor wires to be connected manually.
With a 5V operating voltage, compact 28mm motor diameter and approximately 1/64 reduction ratio, this stepper motor assembly is well suited to Arduino projects, robotics, educational electronics, automation prototypes, camera mechanisms, small positioning systems and other DIY projects.

The included ULN2003 driver board simplifies the connection between the stepper motor and a compatible development board. Instead of driving the motor windings directly from a microcontroller, the driver board provides the required switching interface for controlling the motor.
This makes the kit particularly useful for beginners and developers experimenting with Arduino, robotics and stepper motor control, while still providing a practical platform for more advanced automation projects.
Geared Stepper Motor DesignThe integrated gearing increases the motor's output torque while allowing the motor to perform controlled incremental movement. The specified 1/64 reduction ratio makes the motor suitable for applications where slower, more controlled rotation is preferred over high-speed continuous rotation.
The motor's compact size also makes it convenient for projects where installation space is limited.
Important NoteThe stepper motor should be operated using a suitable 5V supply and compatible driver circuitry. The ULN2003 driver board is intended to simplify motor control and should be connected according to the requirements of the selected microcontroller or development board.
