Bosch 750 W Corded Impact Drill - 13 mm Keyed Chuck, Variable Speed (GSB 16 RE)

High-Torque Performance and Structural Durability

The Bosch GSB 16 RE Professional is an industrial-grade impact drill engineered for contractors who require a balance of high power and compact handling. Driven by a robust 750 W motor, this tool is designed for rapid drilling progress in masonry, metal, and wood. Its structural integrity is enhanced by a "stacked" construction and a metal gear housing, which ensures long-term reliability even under the heavy-duty conditions of South African jobsites.

This model features a dual-mode selector for "Rotation Only" and "Hammering with Rotation," making it highly versatile for various onsite applications. The ergonomic slimline design and soft-grip handle are specifically engineered to provide maximum operator comfort and reduce fatigue during prolonged use. With a high-strength keyed chuck, the GSB 16 RE ensures a secure, non-slip grip on drill bits during high-vibration percussion tasks.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Is this model suitable for drilling into reinforced concrete? While the GSB 16 RE is a powerful impact drill rated for concrete up to 16 mm, for heavy-duty reinforced concrete or sustained structural work, an SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer is more efficient.

2. Can I use this for driving screws? Yes, the variable speed trigger and forward/reverse rotating brush plate make it capable of light to medium fastening tasks.

3. Does it come with a keyless chuck? This specific SKU (06012281K1) features an industrial keyed chuck for maximum bit security during intensive masonry drilling.
