The BOYA BY-MM1 is a high-quality cardioid condenser microphone designed to improve the sound quality of videos over your standard built-in microphones. The BY-MM1 is designed for use on Smartphones but includes the necessary adapters to be used on a number of other audio devices. The finished product comes out as a compact & light-weight design. Plug & Play allows a hassle-free experience. The included anti-shock mount effectively reduces unwanted vibration, cable and handling noise.

Additional Operating Instructions
Some Android Smartphones require the use of an application to allow for an external microphone to be picked up by the smartphone operating software. We recommend "Open Camera" and within the app settings select "Use External Microphone."
Smartphones and DSLR cameras use the 3.5mm audio jack. Please ensure your device has this available before purchasing. iPhone users may utilize the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter to create a port for the MM1.
The MM1 has the necessary cables (3.5mm TRS and TRRS) to use on DSLR cameras, Camcorders and Smartphones.
Please do not use additional adapters that are not required.
