Description
Bush Brothers is not about secret missions or special forces. Instead, it is an intimate look at daily life of an ordinary troop. From basic training to witnessing atrocities across the border, this is the story of thousands of infantrymen who were deployed in the SADF, on or across the Border. Colourful characters, hilarious anecdotes and wild partying are interspersed with introspective passages where theauthor reflects on the warrior spirit awakened by adrenaline and danger, and the life-and-death choices troops were forced into making. His nuanced, funny and at times tragic story will resonate widely.
