Butcher Block & Cutting Board Wood Care Oil (5L)

Butcher Block Boys Food-Grade Mineral Oil penetrates deeply into the wood fibres, helping replenish dry timber, reduce moisture absorption and protect against drying, roughness and cracking.

Colourless, odourless and highly stable, it will not go rancid or become sticky - so it won't interfere with the natural goodness of what you have to offer.

WHY CARE FOR YOUR WOOD?

Wood is naturally porous. Repeated washing, food juices and moisture can leave cutting boards dry, dull and increasingly prone to cracking.

Neglected boards can also retain moisture, which can encourage fungal growth and wood rot. Regular conditioning with food-grade mineral oil helps protect the wood, reduce moisture absorption and keep the grain looking rich and healthy.

DEEP CONDITIONING

Unlike a surface coating, mineral oil penetrates into the pores of the wood, helping restore dry timber from within.

Regular use helps:

• Nourish and condition dry wood
• Reduce moisture absorption
• Help prevent drying and cracking
• Revive natural colour and grain
• Maintain a smooth, well-cared-for finish
• Extend the useful life of wooden kitchenware

FOOD-GRADE & NEUTRAL

Our mineral oil is food-grade, colourless, tasteless and odourless.

Unlike many household cooking oils, it will not readily spoil or turn rancid, making it ideal for wooden surfaces regularly used in food preparation and serving.
