The charger supports both 12V and 24V batteries, making it suitable for a variety of compatible automotive battery applications. Its intelligent charging system helps identify battery condition and polarity before beginning the charging process, providing an added layer of convenience during setup.

Intelligent Battery Charging

The charger uses a multi-stage charging process that includes initialization, repair, bulk charging, absorption and float modes. This allows the charger to adjust its operation throughout the charging cycle rather than continuously charging the battery at the same rate.

Battery Repair Function

The integrated pulse repair/desulfation function is designed to help address sulphation by applying controlled pulses intended to dissolve sulphate crystals that may form on lead-acid battery plates. This feature is intended for compatible batteries where sulphation is present.

Bulk & Absorption Charging

During bulk charging, the charger supplies a constant current to efficiently increase the battery voltage and replenish a large portion of its capacity. Once the battery reaches the appropriate voltage, the charger transitions into absorption mode, maintaining the voltage while allowing the charging current to gradually decrease.

Float Maintenance

After the battery reaches a full-charge condition, the charger enters float mode to help maintain the battery's charge without continuously applying a high charging current. This makes it suitable for battery maintenance during periods when a vehicle or compatible battery is not being used regularly.
