Chess Sets - Bushmen Khoisan Chess Set Large (BC006)

The board is crafted from koto and cherry wood, framed with a polyester resin and ground stone mix that feels like carved rock art. Each piece is hand-painted with oil and acrylic paints, giving them depth, vibrancy, and a timeless finish.

Unique highlights:

• Meerkat pawns - standing upright, alert, and playful, they bring a whimsical touch to the battlefield.
• Bushman warriors - kings and queens depicted with spears, shields, beads, and traditional attire.
• Resin-carved frame - etched with hunting scenes, bones, and animals, grounding the set in Khoisan storytelling.

This set is more than a game - it's a cultural artifact, where every move feels like a dialogue between tradition, nature, and artistry.
