Concerning the Mortification of the Flesh (1920)

This little book represents Adyar Pamphlet No. 118. Mr. Mead presents a dissertation involving hostility to the flesh. He extolls the virtues of ancient Aryan India & their beliefs, while striving to get rid of the antagonism of duality, of the effort of mind to dominate body & suggests the use of self-contemplation.
