Delivering Employability Skills in the Lifelong Learning Sector

In the UK, all teachers working in further or adult education settings must achieve the new Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills teaching standards. 'Delivering Employability Skills' is an optional unit on the UK's Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector and the Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector qualifications. Trainees undertaking this unit, or existing teachers wishing to refresh their understanding of delivering employability skills as part of continuing professional development, will find this book invaluable. With links to the professional standards and practical activities and examples throughout, this book supports delivery of the subject in a variety of settings.
