Dell Pro Thunderbolt 5 Dock WD25TB5 300W Docking Station

The Dell Pro Thunderbolt 5 Dock WD25TB5 is designed for high-performance business users, creators, engineers, workstation users, and enterprise IT environments. It expands a compatible Thunderbolt-enabled laptop into a complete desktop workstation using a single host connection for charging, displays, wired networking, USB accessories, and external storage.

It provides up to 300W charging for supported Dell commercial laptops and up to 240W for compatible non-Dell systems. The 300W Dell charging mode requires a compatible Dell laptop with USB-C Power Delivery 3.1 support. A 330W Dell AC adapter is included to supply sufficient power for demanding laptops, connected displays, and USB accessories.

The WD25TB5 includes two DisplayPort 2.1 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, one USB-C Multi-Function DisplayPort 2.1 port, and two Thunderbolt 5 downstream ports. With a compatible Thunderbolt 5 laptop and Display Stream Compression, it can support up to four 4K displays at 120Hz, two 6K displays at 60Hz, or one 8K display at 60Hz. Actual display capability depends on the connected laptop, graphics processor, operating system, cable type, and monitor configuration.

For peripherals, the dock includes four USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 data port with transfer speeds up to 10Gbps. The two Thunderbolt 5 ports support high-speed external storage, displays, and advanced Thunderbolt accessories. A 2.5GbE RJ45 Ethernet port provides stable high-speed wired networking.

The dock also supports enterprise management features including remote firmware updates, firmware updates when disconnected, independent port disablement, MAC Address Pass-Through, PXE Boot, Wake-on-LAN, WLAN-to-LAN switching, Kernel DMA Protection, Dell Command Update, and Intel AMT over Thunderbolt for selected Intel vPro systems. Dell lists a 3-year limited hardware warranty with Advanced Exchange service.
