• Ensure the rubber sealing washer is correctly seated before tightening
• Hand-tighten firmly - do not under-tighten or cross-thread
• The timer should be supported by the tap and not left hanging under hose weight
• Vertical installation is recommended (do not install upside-down or sideways)
• For high-pressure systems, the use of a pressure reducer is strongly recommended
