Description
The DM556 is a digital microstep driver for 2 phase stepper motors, suitable for NEMA23 and NEMA34 motors. It is powered by an 18~48V DC low-voltage supply (not mains), typical value DC36V, with capacity not less than 200VA. Output current is adjustable from 1.0A to 5.6A in 8 levels with 0.5A resolution, using dual constant current PWM drive output. The aluminum housing offers corrosion resistance, and natural cooling supports a long service life. Maximum pulse response frequency is 200KHz with optical isolation.
