Door Hinge Jig 2.5-5 Inch Adjustable Aluminium Router Template For Mortises

Create clean, consistently positioned hinge mortises on the edge of a door with this adjustable aluminium router template. The jig clamps directly to doors up to 1-3/4 inches thick and adjusts for hinge lengths from 2-1/2 to 5 inches.

It supports hinges with 1/4-inch and 5/8-inch radius corners. Square-corner hinges can also be fitted, but the corners must be finished with a chisel after routing. Integrated size markings, hand-adjustment knobs and hinge-referenced depth setup simplify new hinge installation, hinge replacement and general door maintenance.

This jig is designed for mounting on doors only. It is not suitable for door jambs, and the hinge offset from the door edge is fixed and cannot be adjusted
