DoubleW-Jewels Blue Topaz & Amethyst Sterling Silver Gunmetal Gild Ring

This dramatic handcrafted piece is crafted in solid sterling silver with a gun-metal dark grey rhodium gild. It is a showy piece, measuring 3,1 cm (31 mm) up the finger x 2 cm (20 mm) wide and 8 mm high, with a fascinating intricate curlicue openwork design feature. The sides of the ring head leading to the galley are almost flat, skirting neatly around the ring head. The top of the ring head is also quite flat, table-top style. It's an interesting design that also sits really snug on the finger. The shank splits at the shoulder and is finished in the gun-metal rhodium gild. The jeweller has used a very dark rhodium gild detail in the background of the ring head. All the gemstones are natural earth-mined. Seven 5 mm x 4 mm oval-faceted sky blue topaz are set across the ring head, these are accompanied by bezel set 2 mm round cut amethysts - the claws and the frames of the bezel finish are in matt gold gild. The piece weighs a solid13,4 grams and bears the 925 hallmark for sterling silver. It is ring size 6/half (N in British and SA sizing). Definitely unusual.
