This product serves as a WiFi-enabled smart switch, enabling remote control and real-time monitoring of your garage door opener from anywhere in the world through the eWeLink mobile app on your Android or iOS devices. It offers seamless integration with voice control systems like Amazon Alexa and Google Home, as well as IFTTT functionality. Additionally, it supports device sharing and allows for the setting of custom timers for automated garage door operation, enhancing the intelligence of your home.

Installation Steps:
1. Power the device using the USB cable and DC 5V adapter supplied.
2. Attach the Red and Black wires to your garage door opener, ensuring they are connected to the same terminals as the wall button wires. In case you don't have a wall switch, locate the trigger connection on your motor or receiver and make the connection there
3. Attach the sensor securely to the garage door using screws, stickers, brackets, or other suitable means.
4. Download the ewelink app and create a user if you have not done so already.

5.Press and hold the on/off button on the ES Echosmart Garage door opener for 5-10 seconds until it resets and goes into pairing mode.

6.You will see the led light on the device blinks 3 times and repeats (this means it is in pairing mode)

7.Launch the ewelink app and select the + icon on the top right to add the device.

8.Select the same wifi network as your mobile device is connected to and enter correct password, and tap next.

9.It will auto connect with the device.The process will take 1-3 minutes.

10.Once the process is complete the device will appear, click on the edit icon (pencil) on the right of the device to rename it, enter a new name and click done.

To use Alexa functions

Link your ewelink app to your Alexa account

To use Alexa function the door sensor (supplied) has to be mounted correctly

To open your garage / gate door - Say Alexa " Your device name" On

To close your garage / gate door - Say Alexa " Your device name" Off

To check if your garage door is open Ask Alexa if "Your device name" is On

To check if your garage door is closed Ask Alexa if "Your device name" is Closed
