Essentials of Critical Participatory Action Research

Essentials of Critical Participatory Action Research (CPAR) shows how researchers can commit to doing participatory research projects WITH, not ON, marginalized individuals, and in so doing, help document, challenge, and transform social injustices. The authors provide rich examples of their work with diverse communities such as LGBTQIA+ young adults, prisoners, domestic violence survivors, and asylum-seekers.
