Chipboard Screw Pozi Drive Smooth Shank Yellow Passivated from Eureka is designed to make fixing chipboard, mdf and timber; the coarse thread grips engineered boards securely straightforward and consistent. Made from steel, it is built to support consistent results on site or at home. FEATURES & BENEFITS Coarse single-lead thread grips firmly in chipboard, MDF and softwood timber Csk head pulls flush into the surface for a neat, snag-free finish APPLICATION Fixing chipboard, MDF and timber the coarse thread grips engineered boards securely INSTALLATION These screws are designed for fixing wood to wood, and work especially well in chipboard and softwood. In softwood you can usually drive them straight in, but when working with hardwood it's worth drilling a pilot hole about 2mm smaller than the screw diameter to avoid splitting the timber. Drive them with a Pozi screwdriver or Pozi bit the smooth shank does the rest, drawing the two pieces tightly together as you go.
