Expansion Tank for Mercedes W205, S205, X253 with M274, OM651, M264, M276

Description

Coolant Reservoir designed specifically for Mercedes-Benz (C-Class) W205, S205 and (GLC-Class) X253 models with M274, OM651, M264, M276 and M177 engines. As the engine runs and the coolant temperature rises, the coolant expands due to heat. Without an expansion tank, this increase in pressure could damage hoses, the radiator, or the engine itself. The expansion tank acts as an overflow reservoir. It temporarily stores the excess coolant, keeping the system sealed and under proper pressure.

Manufactured using heat-resistant plastic, coolant level sensor and pressure-release cap (rated between 1.2-1.5 bar) which raises the boiling point of the coolant, allowing the engine to operate more efficiently without boiling over.

Replacement Part for: 2055000049.
