Fine Natural Sponge 10 Pack

This pack contains 10 fine natural sponges for creating texture and controlled variation in painting, craft and decorative projects. Natural sponge has an irregular surface, making it useful for stippling, dabbing, blending and breaking up large areas of colour. To use, apply a small amount of suitable paint or medium to the sponge, remove excess on a scrap surface, then gently dab onto your project. Vary pressure and sponge orientation to create different marks, or layer several colours for more complex textures. These sponges can be useful for backgrounds, foliage, stone, clouds and decorative finishes. Because natural sponge is an organic material, individual pieces may differ in shape, density, texture and appearance. Results will therefore vary rather than producing an identical repeat pattern.
