Fiprotec Spot-On Tick & Flea For Small Dogs (up to 10kg) - Single Pipette

Fiprotec Spot-On For Dogs is for the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestation on dogs and as an aid in the control of flea allergic dermatitis in dogs. Kills fleas and ticks following a single application. Monthly flea and tick treatment.

Residual action following a single dose:
• Continues to kill fleas for up to 2 months (8 weeks)
• Continues to kill ticks for up to 1 month (4 weeks)

Fiprotec has a mode of action that effectively targets fleas and ticks. Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles and continues to be released onto the skin and coat, resulting in residual activity.

Warnings
• Do not treat puppies younger than 10 weeks of age
• Keep out of reach of uninformed persons, children and animals

Precautions
• Toxic to fish and bees
• Avoid contact with hands or any other part of the body
• Wash hands with soap and water after use
• Do not smoke, eat or drink during application of the product
• Dispose of used containers with domestic refuse

Directions for use: Use only as directed
• Do not bath or shampoo animals 3 days before or 3 days after application as this will decrease the duration of the activity
• Remove a pipette from the rack
• Twist off the top
• Part the hair between the shoulder blades so that skin is visible. Empty the contents of the container directly onto the visible skin by squeezing the pipette a number of times
• If an excessive amount of the contents wet the actual hair it will impart a sticky appearance which will disappear within 24 hours.
• The active ingredient (Fipronil) will spread over the entire coat of the animal within 24 hours.
• Monthly application is recommended where there is a high risk of reinfestation, if the pet is allergic to fleas, or in situations where tick control is needed.
