Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Do I need to completely strip down old varnished furniture before painting?

A: There is no need for messy chemical stripping, but a thorough prep is key! For previously varnished or glossy melamine surfaces, simply scrub away all grease, sand the surface down to a dull matte texture using fine-grit sandpaper, wipe away the loose dust, and apply your paint directly for optimal mechanical adhesion.

Q: How many coats are recommended for a flawless finish?

A: To get a rich, uniform Cream Copy color depth and ensure maximum surface durability, we always recommend applying two even coats using a high-quality foam roller or synthetic bristle brush, allowing sufficient drying time between layers.

Q: Is this paint suitable for exterior wooden patio furniture?

A: This specific Fired Earth formulation is engineered exclusively as a high-durability interior coating for kitchen cupboards, built-ins, and indoor furniture. For exterior wood exposed to direct rain, intense sun, and ambient outdoor moisture, we recommend checking out specialized weather-proof exterior enamels or wood stains.
