Fragile

The book provides a captivating peak into the inner sanctum of the U.S. Embassy in Pretoria. The reader also gets a rare opportunity to learn about the fragile relationship between South Africa and the U.S, especially in the current climate where the fraught relationship has been in the media constantly. The book also provides access to interesting content from internal documents, details on the occasional spats between the two governments and some things that an Embassy would probably prefer not getting out into the public domain. The author also boldly and unsympathetically expresses his personal view about various people, organizations and issues. On the lighter side, he also writes about some of the humorous situations he experienced while working for the U.S. Embassy. The stories are unique, shocking, interesting, factual, eye-opening and have never before been shared and can only come from an insider's experience.
