Fuel Filter Water Separator Kit Compatable with 79 SERIES 4.5 V8 L/C

Most OEM filters only remove loose water & dirt, Racor is a 3-way fuel filter, water separator and water trap - removing not only the loose water as well as dirt, rust, and algae but also suspended water, which is the main cause of premature injector failure. The transparent bowl with a drain tap allows you to easily see sediment and water collected in the bowl, a red polypropylene O-ring with a specific density that floats on water, but not on fuel also makes it easy to any water in the bowl allowing you to always drain via the tap all the excess collected.

The replacement elements use Racor's proprietary Aquabloc filtering media which removes particles and prevents water from entering the injection system. The Racor prefilter is fitted before the OEM filter.
