Rounded Body Shape

FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates a new, rounded body shape. While slightly larger than the predecessor X-T30 II model, the styling makes it feel small without compromising handling. The thumb grip extends smoothly outward compared to previous models, providing an impressive overall feel and grip on the body.

Film Simulation Dial

FUJIFILM X-T50 features all-new Film Simulation dial on the top plate. Choosing the Film Simulation has never been easier. It is as simple as turning the dial. There are 20 Film Simulation modes to choose from, including the latest "REALA ACE". Enjoy our color science that we have cultivated since our establishment in 1934.

Dial Operation

FUJIFILM X-T50 houses shutter speed, exposure compensation, and all-new Film Simulation dials on the top-plate. Together with the aperture ring on most XF lenses, settings can be checked and adjusted, even without turning the camera on, leaving you to concentrate on what matters most: making the perfect image.

Electronic Viewfinder

FUJIFILM X-T50 features a 2.36 million dot electronic viewfinder (EVF) with a 0.62x magnification ratio. The specially designed lens elements provide a high-definition live view, and includes an adjustable diopter control to provide a truly comfortable experience.

Tilting LCD

FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates a tilting LCD, which offers enhanced versatility, particularly when working at waist level. The combination of tilting LCD and center viewfinder aligns the lens, camera, and photographer on the optical axis, for a more comfortable and intuitive image-making experience.

Cutting-Edge Image Quality

FUJIFILM X-T50's fifth-generation X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, X-Processor 5 imaging engine, and up to 7.0-stop in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) combine to deliver the highest image quality yet for X Series in a small, light body.

Subject Detection Autofocus

FUJIFILM X-T50 uses X-Processor 5's subject detection AF to accurately track a range of subjects. Built using deep-learning AI technology, it detects animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones.x

xSet the SUBJECT DETECTION SETTING to BIRD for insect detection, and to AIRPLANE for detecting drones.

Updated AF Algorithm

FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates an impressive autofocus prediction algorithm for reliable focusing even when recording continuously moving subjects. Autofocus enhancements are most notable in Zone AF and low-contrast situations.

ISO 125 Standard Sensitivity

The X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor in FUJIFILM X-T50 has a more light-efficient pixel structure. A setting of ISO 125, which on the prior model, FUJIFILM X-T30 II was only an extended sensitivity option, is now available natively on the FUJIFILM X-T50.

S/N Level / Low-Light Power

Film Simulation

The 20 Film Simulation modes offered by FUJIFILM X-T50, including the new REALA ACE mode, harness 90 years of Fujifilm color science, digitally replicating the look of classic photographic film stocks. Reproduce the classic colours and tones Fujifilm is renowned for, or add artistic flair to your photographic journey.

Grain Effect

From subtle textures to the gritty look of traditional high-ISO film stocks, with Fujifilm X-T50 you can easily add natural-looking grain to your photos. Control the strength and size for just the right amount of texture on any image.

Colour Chrome Effect

For highly-saturated subject, Colour Chrome Effects adds depth, detail, and vibrancy in three strengths to red, green, or yellow tones where detail may otherwise be lost.

Colour Chrome FX Blue

Adds more depth and naturally enhances the vividness of the colour.

Clarity

The Clarity control lets you decide wether to recreate a scene with a crisp sharpness, defining edges and boosting contrast, or with a soft feel. With 11 levels of control, it's easy to fine-tune to your personal taste and style.

Monochromatic Colour

Monochromatic colour allows you to choose a key colour from a matrix of Warm/Cool tones and Magenta/Green hues. You can incorporate the rich gradation into your images to create photographs with a personal twist.

Manipulating Images

White Balance

Fine adjustments can be made to Auto White Balance (AWB) by selecting one of three modes: Auto, White Priority, and Ambience Priority. Set to White Priority, white is more likely to be reproduced as white under incandescent lighting. However, when Ambience Priority is set, scenes will be photographed with the natural lighting characteristics of the scene preserved. Under incandescent lighting, this will generally result in images with warmer white tones.

Multiple Exposure

Layer up to nine images in Additive, Average, Comparative Bright or Comparative Dark modes to combine multiple perspectives or different points in time. Various settings, including Film Simulations, can be applied to each exposure to produce a unique creative expression completely in-camera.

AUTO Mode

In AUTO mode, the camera automatically recognises and sets optimal exposure settings for any scene. It also features auto subject detection where the camera automatically detects and tracks the subject, keeping it in focus. This eliminates the need to adjust the subject detection settings manually for easy image making. The AUTO mode can also be used for video.

Video Functionality

FUJIFILM X-T50 offers advanced video performance in a compact, lightweight body. Create movies up to 6.2K internally at 30p in 4:2:2 10-bit color. 4K/60p and high-speed 1080/240p are also available, maximising video flexibility.

Improved Subject Tracking

Track subjects in your videos with ease. Select AF-C mode with Wide/Tracking AF, then simply touch the subject on the rear LCD. FUJIFILM X-T50 will track the object, even in situations where multiple subjects appear in the frame.

F-Log2 support

In addition to F-Log, FUJIFILM X-T50 also supports F-Log2, which records an expanded dynamic range of 13+ stops.x This range is wider than current F-Log, broadening post-production potential. xWhen recording F-Log2, based on Fujifilm internal testing.

The composition of 10 lenses in 9 groups, including three aspherical lenses and two ED lenses, provides excellent resolution at all zoom positions, while measuring just 44.2mm long and weighing only 135 g.

Covers frequently used focal lengths

This new lens covers the frequently used focal length from 23mm to 69mm (in 35mm format equivalent) which makes it a suitable lens for shooting both landscape and portrait photography. Because the wide angle end is equivalent to 23mm, this lens will be suitable for capturing self-portraits featuring multiple people or backgrounds when using with a camera with a 180 tilting LCD screen, such as FUJIFILM X-A5.

Ability to shoot close-up, 5cm from the lens tip

Using the widest angle position, the lens allows photographers to shoot subjects which are around 5cm from the end of the lens, achieving a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.24. This lens is ideal for those wanting to take close-up shots of food, flowers or small accessories.

Electric zoom and comfortable operation

Creating a small, collapsible lens has been made possible by utilising an electric zoom. When the camera is switched on, the lens automatically extends ready for shooting.
Two different zoom speeds can be selected by the rotating of the zoom ring. The lens moves position at a constant speed, producing smooth zooming motion when shooting movies.

Optical image stabilisation

The electric zoom includes 3.0-stop optical image stabilisation technology compatible with CIPA guidelines, which assists photographers shooting in low light conditions.

Fast and silent autofocus

The inner focusing AF system uses a stepping motor to drive lightweight focusing elements for a fast and silent autofocus performance.
