Important Pouch Capacity Note: Please take note of the maximum pouch thickness allowance (500 microns total). Any pouch thicker than the maximum allowance will jam inside the laminator and void the 2-year warranty.

How to Choose the Correct Laminator

1. How many users and how often? Using a laminator more frequently than what it was designed for can cause motor burn-out. Match your duty cycle to your needs:

Top Tip: Pouches listed as "2x" indicate each separate side of the pouch. For example, 2 x 125 micron = 250 micron total pouch thickness.

3. What size document are you laminating? Ensure your machine fits your largest anticipated format. The GBC Pro Series 4600 covers all sizes from ID cards up to A2 posters.

Laminating Hints & Tips

• Always Feed Closed End First: Inserting open-end first is the #1 cause of jams. Always ensure the sealed side enters the machine first.
• Laminating Irregular Shapes: Position items close together and as near to the sealed edge as possible before feeding into the machine.
• Routine Maintenance: Regularly run a cardboard cleaning sheet through your machine (without a pouch) to remove adhesive residue and prevent jams.
• Never Laminate an Empty Pouch: Running an empty pouch can cause severe wrapping around the rollers and jam the machine.
