• 1. Does this machine require special oil? Yes. Like all 4-stroke engines, it requires SAE 10W-30 or 15W-40 engine oil. Never start the machine without oil, as it will seize the engine immediately. Most units feature a "Low Oil Sensor" that will prevent the machine from starting if the level is too low.

• 2. Can I use water from a bucket or a static tank? This unit is designed to be fed by a standard garden hose. While it can pull water from a tank (siphoning), it is highly recommended that the tank is elevated above the machine (gravity-fed) to prevent pump damage (cavitation).
• 3. How do I switch to "Soap Mode"? To apply detergent, you must use the Black (Soap) Nozzle. This specific tip creates a low-pressure vacuum that draws soap through the detergent suction hose. Once you switch back to a high-pressure (colored) nozzle, the soap suction will automatically stop.
