Frame & Fork
- The bike is constructed on a lightweight alloy MTB frame specifically engineered for disc brake compatibility, delivering superior frame rigidity and significant weight savings over steel alternatives. A steel lockout suspension fork with 38mm of travel provides complete riding versatility - firm and efficient on smooth surfaces, fully active and comfortable on technical and uneven terrain.

Wheels & Tyres
- The ALTRON 29" rides on double wall alloy black rims with a 20mm profile, supported by 45# steel ED-finish spokes and steel hubs with a quick release front hub for easy wheel removal and maintenance convenience. Fitted with 2.125" black tyres with brown wall and A/V valves for easy inflation, the 29" wheel diameter delivers superior rollover capability, improved momentum retention and a more stable, confident ride across all terrain types and riding conditions.

Drivetrain
- The drivetrain features a steel chainwheel with alloy crank at 170mm ED finish for lightweight and efficient power transfer on every pedal stroke. Paired with a 1/2 x 3/32 brown chain and a 13-32T 8 speed indexed smoky grey freewheel, gear changes are managed by the Shimano TY300 8 speed rear derailleur and Shimano M315 8 speed shifter for smooth, accurate and refined indexed shifting across a wide and versatile gear range suited to all riding environments. No front derailleur is fitted on this model. Black PVC ball bearing pedals at 9/16" complete the drivetrain.

Braking System
- Stopping performance is delivered through a premium alloy disc brake set in black, operated by semi-alloy brake levers with a 2P brake casing set and SP derailleur casing. The disc brake system provides exceptional stopping power, precise modulation and fully consistent braking performance across all weather and terrain conditions, delivering a commanding braking advantage over conventional V brake systems at any speed.

Steering
- The steel swallow handlebar in sand black finish is paired with an alloy sand black stem and black PVC grips, delivering comfortable, precise and confident steering control ideally suited to the demands of commuting, fitness riding and technical trail navigation.

Saddle & Seatpost
- A quality PU saddle with ED clamp and rail delivers durable and comfortable riding support across longer distances and extended rides, mounted on a 27.2mm steel seatpost in sand black finish for reliable performance and easy height adjustment to suit any rider.
