Goldair 40 cm Oscillating Desk Fan (White) – 3-Speed High-Volume Cooling, Model GDF16Y

Superior Airflow, Minimal Footprint: Professional-Grade Cooling for Larger Workspaces

When a standard personal fan isn't enough, the Goldair 40cm Oscillating Desk Fan steps up to deliver professional-grade cooling performance. With its larger 16-inch (40cm) blade diameter, the GDF16Y is engineered to move a significantly higher volume of air than standard desk fans, making it the perfect choice for busy open-plan offices, home studios, or larger bedrooms.

The GDF16Y balances power with precision. Featuring a Whisper Quiet motor, it provides a deep, refreshing breeze without the intrusive noise of industrial fans. Its 90-degree oscillation sweep ensures that cool air reaches every corner of your desk, while the sturdy round base provides maximum stability. Finished in a clean, modern white, it offers a functional and stylish solution to South Africa's intense summer heat.

Top 3 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. How much more powerful is the 40cm model compared to the 30cm? The 40cm model (GDF16Y) moves roughly 70% more air than the 30cm version. If you are cooling a space larger than a small cubicle, the 40cm is the recommended choice.

2. Can I lock the fan to blow in just one direction? Yes. By pulling up the oscillation pin on top of the motor housing, you can stop the side-to-side motion and focus the airflow on a single spot.

3. Is it safe for use around children? Yes. The fan features a reinforced metal safety grill with narrow spacing, ensuring that fingers cannot come into contact with the moving blades.
