About the ink (please read before buying)
This printer uses a fast-drying solvent-based ink, which is what lets it print permanently on plastic, metal, cardboard, and other non-porous surfaces that water-based ink can't mark. Because of this:

• It has a noticeable smell during and shortly after printing - use in a well-ventilated area (open window or fan nearby).
• The ink is flammable - keep away from flames, heat, and direct sunlight, and don't smoke nearby while printing.
• Avoid contact with eyes and skin; wash off promptly if it happens.

Surface compatibility: Works well on cardboard, most rigid plastics, metal, and glass. For plastic pouches or films, results can vary depending on the coating/finish - we recommend testing on an offcut or inconspicuous area first before running a full batch.
