Built for Demanding Steel Applications:Manufactured from HSSE (High Speed Steel Enhanced), this drill-tap handles soft magnetic steels, construction and cementation steels, and non-alloy and alloy carbon steels up to 800 N/mm - performing where standard HSS tools wear out.
Precision M10 Threads to International Standard:Conforms to DIN 13 with a 6H tolerance, producing accurate M10 x 1.50 metric coarse threads for structural fabrication, automotive, heavy engineering, and industrial maintenance.
Optimised for Through-Hole Applications:Designed specifically for through holes with a thread depth of up to 1.5× the diameter (up to 15 mm on M10), ensuring clean, fully-formed threads from entry to exit without binding or breakage.
Extended Length for Deeper Reach:At 106 mm total length with a 31 mm flute, the 28060 M10 provides the reach and flute geometry needed for optimal chip evacuation and stability in both hand and machine-tapping setups.
