2 MP full HD over coax: a 2 MP CMOS sensor records 1920 x 1080 at 25 fps in PAL or 30 fps in NTSC, with an internal sync and a shutter range of 1/25 s to 1/50,000 s (PAL). Standard image functions include DWDR, backlight compensation, DNR and image modes STD and HIGH-SAT, so faces, number plates and gate entrances stay readable in mixed light. 20 m infrared night vision: minimum illumination is 0.02 Lux at F1.2 and 0 Lux with the IR illuminator on, and an IR cut filter switches the camera between colour and black and white automatically. The 2.8 mm lens covers 103 degrees horizontally; the 3.6 mm version covers 82.2 degrees. One BNC port, four switchable signals: a switch button on the camera sets the output to TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS, so the same camera works with Hikvision Turbo HD recorders as well as AHD and CVI DVRs. On Hikvision recorders the camera menu can be driven up the coax (HIKVISION-C), which means no ladder work to change settings. IP66 turret for outdoor mounting: metal main body with a plastic enclosure, rated IP66 for dust and water jets, specified from -40 C to 60 C with humidity up to 90 percent non-condensing. It measures 89.9 mm across and 70.1 mm tall, weighs about 280 g, and the head adjusts pan 0 to 360 degrees, tilt 0 to 75 degrees and rotation 0 to 360 degrees. Simple 12 V DC power: runs on 12 V DC plus or minus 15 percent with a maximum draw of 4 W, so a standard CCTV power supply or a multi-channel power box can feed several cameras at once. Only two leads leave the camera, video and power. A power supply, the BNC video cable and the optional DS-1280ZJ-XS junction box are not included.
